What is even A3W?

The A3W (Arma 3 Web) is a web system designed specifically for Arma 3 groups and communities (small to medium-sized). It provides tools to manage events, ranks, and training courses, enhancing the overall experience for players and organizers alike.

A3W aims to streamline the management of Arma 3 communities by providing a centralized platform for all their needs, leveraging Discord for managing notifications and logging events. A3W system is made fully customizable, from the system's name, logo, colors, to the ranks, courses, and event details. The user management system allows for different roles and permissions, ensuring that the right people have access to the right tools.

Since A3W was developed by a member of an Arma 3 community, that went through the struggle of common player, through instructor and even into the leadership, it is designed to address the real needs and challenges faced by such groups. And thanks to the continuous feedback from its users, A3W is constantly evolving to better serve its userbase.

Features

Ranks

You can set custom ranks for your members, each with its own name and image.

Ranks are completely optional and their distribution is up to you.

Events

You can create events for gaming sessions, including operations, trainings, and more.

Each event can have its own details, including participants, where you control what is displayed.

JointOps

You can create JointOps to collaborate with other groups

In the system, you will see your JointOps (including those you are invited to). You can also invite groups not using the A3W system to JointOps!

ORBATs

You can set up detailed ORBATs (Order of Battle) for your missions, including unit roles, equipment, and more.

Courses

If your group manages courses, you can use the A3W system to track completed and show available.

Courses are optional but can limit access to certain roles and be available based on other courses or ranks

Admin

The system offers casual user view, where each user can sign up for mission, see its courses and more.

Then there is a robust admin panel where you can have multiple privileged roles to manage your community.

Discord

You can integrate your Discord server with A3W for seamless logging and notifications.

Mobile App (PWA)

A3W can also be used as a mobile app (PWA) for easy access to the system features from mobile devices.

The whole system is made responsive to be usable with small screens (like mobile phones).

How does this help me from the view of group leader?
Thanks to system of privileges, you as the leader can streamline specific tasks to specific users. Such as be able to only create mission, or be able to change user's completed course or even manage their ranks. This would mean less job to you and more autonomy to your members, while keeping things organized and under your control.
How does this help me from the view of member of leadership?
Based on your role in the group or community, you will be able to change specific details related to your responsibilities, such as managing events or overseeing member activities. If is it a course, rank or other element, thanks to the centralized system you will not lose track of it.
How does this help me from the view of user?
As a user, you will find a great help the unified notification system, which keeps you informed about upcoming events. If your group chooses to use so, you will see available slots in mission you can signup for based on your courses or rank. In you profile section you could see your completed courses, available or inavailable courses and event history.
Do I need Discord to use A3W?
No, Discord integration is optional but recommended for notifications and logging. With enabled integration, there is also the option to log in or register using an existing Discord account. In the future, a custom Discord bot is planned to extend the connection and simplify usage for both users and administrators.
Can I customize ranks and courses?
Absolutely! You can fully customize ranks, courses, and event details to fit your group's needs. The system was made in ranks and courses in mind, but if your group doesnt use the system in this way, you can still adapt it to your needs. You can read more in our Details and Features.
